Campus E-Directory

What is the University of Colorado E-Directory?

The E-Directory is the university’s online directory that contains current contact information for all members of the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus community: students, employees, faculty and staff, as well as affiliates. Directory information is entered and updated automatically from the following sources:
  • The university Human Resources Management System (HRMS) for faculty and staff (daily update).
  • The CU Student Information System (CU-SIS) for students (daily update).
  • The individual users – individual users can edit some information fields by logging in here and making changes (updates are done in near-real-time).

You can use the E-Directory to locate telephone numbers and electronic mail addresses of university community members. The directory is protected so that it cannot be used to produce mass mailing lists, but the information is otherwise publicly available to anyone with web access. In addition to the information obtained from HRMS and CU-SIS, you can add other information about yourself to the directory. For instance, the directory provides many user-editable fields, including alternate e-mail address and phone number. You even have the ability to display a cell phone number, pager number, or second building location. Once you enter new information, the fields are updated immediately. This provides you with the ability to customize and control the contact information you wish to share.

Having information about yourself in the directory makes it easier for individuals on campus and around the world to communicate with you. Using this directory, your colleagues and friends can find your electronic mail address or telephone number by conducting a simple search from the E-Directory webpage.
